Effects of bismuth and antimony additions on the
The effects of bismuth and antimony additions on the microstructure and mechanical properties of AZ91 alloy have been studied. Results show that a small amount of bismuth or antimony additions to AZ91 increases the yield strength and creep resistance significantly at elevated temperatures up to 200°C.
Effects of the MnO additives on the properties of Pb(Fe 2
In this paper pure and 0.15wt MnO additives of (1-x)Pb(Fe 2/3 W1/3 )O 3 -xPbTiO 3 (1-x)PFW -x PT with x =0.1 0.2 0.3 and 0.4 were synthesized by the conventional solid state reaction method. The dielectric diffusion properties were investigated with the empirical law. The lattice structure was found to transfer from tetragonal to pseudocubic and the diffusion phase characteristic is
Effects of MnO doping on the electronic properties of zinc
· MnO-doped ZnO ceramics have been synthesized through the conventional ceramic processing route. Mn 2 ions have been incorporated into the ZnO lattice within the limits of solid solubility. By using X-band-frequency and high-field electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) we have resolved some of the main electronic transitions for the S = 5/2 I = 5/2 high-spin system and have

Effects of Co Zr Additions on the Magnetic Properties of
The effects of the additions of Co Zr on microstructure and magnetic properties were studied for hot-deformed (HD) nanocomposite Nd11.5Fe81.5-xNb1CoxB6 (x=0 2 4 8) and Nd11.5Fe82.5-xZrxB6 (x=0 1) magnets respectively. The remanence of hot-pressed (HP) magnets increased with increasing Co content firstly but decreased when Co content was more than 2 at. for HD magnets.

· The introduction of MnO 2 not only caused changes in phase structure and microstructure but also led to significant evolutions in electrical properties. As the content of MnO 2 increases the values of d 33 k p and tanδ decrease from 589 pC/N to 175 pC/N 59 to 30 and 1.88 to 0.34 respectively while the mechanical quality factor Q m increases from 70 to 420.

· The dielectric spectra of CaCu3Ti4O12 is characterized by a large permittivity (εr>10000) with only a weak dependence on temperature over the temperature range 200–400 K.
Effects of MnO 2 Addition on Piezoelectric and
The effect of MnO 2 addition on significantly lowering the value of tan δ in the range of 0.37 to 0.93mol was proven. The lowest value (=0.37 ) of tan δ was obtained in ceramics with 0.75mol MnO 2. Electromechanical coupling factors k p and k 31 and the piezoelectric constant d 31 decreased with increasing amount of MnO 2 addition.
